Dr.Robert replied: "january 31st at midnight,2010...HAPPY NEW YEAR !"

oklatonola replied: "Daylight saving ends at 2 am Sunday, November 1, 2009 in the USA. Summer time ends in the UK at 2 am Sunday, October 25, 2009. Your Dad is two years out of date: blame the 2004 Congress. Congress passed the law extending daylight saving time in 2004. It became effective in 2007."

Do you have daylight savings time? Does this mean we are another hour ahead of the world or are they an hour closer Dosent matter the rest of the world still follows us Gee I hope this doesent annoy anyone New Zealand clocks move forward one hour overnight: daylight saving time begins. New Zealand Daylight Time begins at two o'clock tomorrow morning. and runs through until April 5 2009. In April 2007, the government announced an extension to Daylight Saving of an extra three weeks, to a 27-week period. Clocks now go forward on the last Sunday in September, and back on the first Sunday in April.

AussieGIRL replied: "Thats the same with Australia I think... Oh well... Cool."

xprincess_aurorax replied: "i think in the us...that arizona is the only state that dont have it"

lickitysplit replied: "Yes"

Ta Dah! replied: "yes I do... dumbest damn thing ever..."

FRATH *2nd Account* replied: "Yes"

mrs cowgirl replied: "some parts of australia have daylight savings. in new south wales and victoria and sa and wa and nt have daylight saving. queen land does not have daylight saving so that means new zealand be 4 hours in front of us"

replied: "We have it here in Tennessee."

LOR replied: "we have daylight savings time too in the states.. It confuses the hell out of me every year. I hear a story of its creation once. It was said that the changing of the clocks specifically had to do with the work day. If workers leave work while it is still light there is less accidents and people sleep better.. I don't know. I avoid the whole 9-5 thing anyway.."

kimshot replied: "yes - I live in California"

Mrs H replied: "Yes, we have it. they have all kinds of claims about it but I go with the people who think it's silly, lol Here in the States we were on it full year back a while, '70's, they said it would conserve energy. We would use less electricity because while you were up it'd still be light. Now I am a night person and am up past those hours and so are a lot of other people so it made no sense to me. Oh well, I'm just a regular person. What do I know? lol ;)"

Dan the brick man replied: "hey spec...here in the states its just the opposite...move them back in sept. and forward in april....must be because your seasons are opposite of ours..."

Fireman Bob replied: "Yes mate we have that stupid thing here in scotland One hour forward in April and an hour back in October And to help daft old nut's like me remember they came up with this saying. ( Spring Forward Fall Back ) In winter the kids go to School in the dark and come home in the dark What the H!!l are they saving daylight for when they cant sell it"

saveitok replied: "i get confused on this stuff ...wait i live in seattle washington usa is today daylight savings time can u email me"

HappyChick *the kiwi one* replied: "Woohoo Spectre, yes yes its started here, and i have to say, what beautiful days we are having, yeehaa...summer's coming! :)"

Stupidity Personified replied: "We are 1 hour further ahead than the rest of the world during daylight savings except for those countries in the southern hemisphere who are on it too."

karen replied: "In the U.S. it begins on March 9th and ends Nov. 2nd in 2008. I still don't understand it, it's never saved me anything. Letting me sleep one hour more in spring, but taking the hour back from me in fall has not helped me in anyway that I can see! Anyway I found this site and learned a little bit about the subject, even some trivia that was pretty interesting, so if you want check it out, I thought it was kind of neat. There are seven pages I think, easy enough!"

Sabrina K replied: "Yes, In Washington state."

Mary Who? replied: "Yes, dogone it!! We have that darn annoying dayight savings time here, too. I hate it. Well I hate only half of it. I really hate when we set clocks ahead one hour in spring. That's one less hour for me to be sleepless on Y!A!!! Good on ya friend, for bringing it up so I can vent and get it out of my system!"
